Network Overview

******ATTENTION****** ----> The "Old Spanish" parking area is "NO MORE". Due to the unfortunate expansion of HWY 160 it's been blocked off. If you know where the TH there is, you are definitely still able to get through the (non barbwire) fence easily. I rode on a Sat evening and it was fine, but if construction is active, I have NO CLUE what could happen to a vehicle parked there....most likely nothing, but I would use caution if parking there.

Cottonwood Valley is an amazing network of single track mountain bike trails. Sometimes people run and bring their dogs so keep your eyes open.

The North Side (of the Highway) is the larger area with more mellow XC trails and some technical ones, like "Late Night Trail". If you want to roam around more and just connect trails until you feel like stopping, the North side is where you should go. Also beginners and/or for shorter rides.

Riding the South side trails, you'll start off either at Late Night Parking Lot or at the Upper Late Night Parking area. You will start off with climbing, but it's fairly mellow in elevation and is nice single track the whole way up.. Then rewarded again by the amazing single track on your long fun descents! The climbs are fairly mellow, but not super easy. Enjoy!

This area is by far the most ridden and most popular network in the area. With an extensive selection of great single track ranging from beginner to expert, there is something for everyone. Easy to access it is off of HWY 160 near Blue Diamond and takes about 20-30 min to get to from the "center" of town. Even when this area is "Busy" the riding is amazing!

Trails range from: Smooth and Dreamy; to Rocky Sandy Technical Trails. The climbing is mild to moderate and rewarding on most ascents. All the trails in the network link, so you can't make any wrong turns! (Depending on how far you want to go at least)

P.S. Elevation: Starting at Late Night Parking-Heading SOUTH of HWY 160 you will climb. Starting at Late Night Parking-Heading NORTH (same side of the HWY160 as the parking) you will start off Descending, then Ascending back to Late Night Parking Lot.
